Allendale / West Grand Rapids KOA

Book in advance. They fill up fast. FHU But no pull thrus and depending on your site, it can be a tight back in. Very large campground. Avoid driving into the back as road can be tight as well. Wagon ride for the kids every night. Kids also enjoyed the pool which became crowded quickly. Bracelets are required for the pool. They also allow for a tent and two cars which is strictly enforced. LOTS of full time people there. Beware the bugs as owner does not spray and there are a lot of trees. Under new ownership and I think the new owners are making lots of improvements. I can see where the campground had become run down. Very close drive to Grand Haven which is beautiful. Sites were VERY long to fit most any size and room for 2 cars! Fairly wide as well except for trees. Mostly dirt and grass but level. We did not use the bath house or laundry.
