Abbeville R. V. Park is nestled in a secluded, shaded paradise, only 2 minutes from historic downtown Abbeville and it's charm. The perfect location for exploring the area known as Acadiana, and more specifically the "Cajun Heartland" and the unique culture of South Louisiana. The town, rich in architectural design, offers the best in Cajun restaurants, shops dotting its historic downtown area, a community theater, an 18 hole golf course all within a mile or two from the park. Visit the first seafood patio in Louisiana to serve boiled crawfish, or take in an intimate concert at the oldest stock yard/auction barn in the parish. Drive the countryside to view farmers harvesting crawfish, sugar cane, soybeans or rice. Vermilion Parish is a treat for birdwatchers, and keep your eyes open, you may even get to see an alligator. Centrally located in the heart of Lafayette and New Iberia attractions, we invite you to go out and explore the surrounding area and welcome you to make Abbeville R.V. Park your nightly retreat back to nature to reflect on the day's activities.

We are located about 40 minutes from the TABASCO pepper plant. It is the only place in the world where their hot sauce is bottled.
Our spring and fall are full of festivals in the surrounding areas. Visit www.mostcajun.com or www.lafayettetravel.com to plan your trip.

I actually enjoy small city parks as I feel the staff does a better job at maintaining them. There are a good amount of sites to choose from for any size rig. There are some good hookups and amenities that gave us what we needed. There isn’t a restroom at all, so it was either using the RV or to find a secluded spot to do the deed. That was fun for the kids as they got a great camping experience they won’t forget. The location was really great as it was easy to find and there was a lot of great places that was only a short drive away. Worth giving this place a visit! - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

It is a small city park. Sites are 30/50A, gravel sites & roads, grass area, picnic table & fire ring on each site, lots of trees, WIFI, no bathhouse or toilet facilities you need to be self contained. Not a bad little park only problem is they can have mosquitos there but the city does come out & spray for them in evening. We have friends that are camphosts there so we stopped to visit them Nov. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
2/7/2017Hi and thanks for the review. Just a clarification. We do not have tables or fire rings at every site. We do have many spread throughout the park. You are welcome to bring your own fire ring to enjoy the cool evenings of winter.
