Located on State Rt. 80 just north of Cooperstown we are just minutes from the Baseball Hall of Fame, Farmers Museum, Fenimore House Art Gallery, and the Glimmerglass Opera. RULES & POLICIES

RATES- Rates are based on four persons occupying a site. There is a charge of $5.00 per night for each extra person. An additional tent may be used only with prior approval from the registration office. An additional tent $5.00 and additional cars $5.00. Cancellations / Refund Policy - We require 48 hours notice to cancel. For holiday or special event weekends (HOF Induction) 30 days notice to cancel. A full refund will be given on cancelled site reservations providing appropriate notice has been received. A one night’s deposit will be charged for any cancellation with less than required notice. Sorry, no refunds due to no-shows. Campers have until 10 AM the following day of your initial arrival date to check-in, otherwise a no-show will be issued without a refund. Camping is an outdoor activity; therefore, we do not give refunds due to discomforts of nature or premature departure on your part. Check-In and Checkout Times - Check-in is at 1:00 pm and checkout is at 11:00 am every day. Guests can make arrangements ahead of time for an early arrival. Sites may not be available for early arrival due to previous reservations. Please do not change sites without confirming with the office. Please respect other campers by cleaning up your campsite before departing. GENERAL BEHAVIOR Quiet Hours - Please observe quiet hours from 11 PM to 8 AM. Minimum age for site rental - 21< Parents are responsible for their childrens’ behavior and safety at all times. All campers, visitors, guests and pets must be registered at the office upon arrival and prior to entering the campground. Overnight guests need to register at the office by 8:00 PM. We take pride in the cleanliness of our facilities and we would appreciate your help in maintaining them. To avoid accidents and injuries, an adult should accompany children under the age of 6 years old to the restroom/bathhouse. Loud music and loud, abusive, or foul language are not acceptable. Please be considerate of the other campers so you are not disturbing them. Privacy of other campers is to be respected. Alcohol / Illegal Substances – Underage drinking and the possession or use of illegal substances is not permitted. If any persons under the age of 21 are found drinking and if anyone is found to be using illegal substances you will be evicted from the park immediately. Site Maintenance - Keep your campsite and the campground clean and orderly, and dispose of trash in the dumpster near the entrance. Please return your campsite in the same condition it was received. Alcoholic beverages are restricted to the campsites. Damaging or Destroying Camp Property – Management reserves the right to bill anyone for destruction of campground property caused by any member of their family, visitors or their dogs, Please see that your children and your guests do not damage or destroy camp property. This includes items in the recreation hall and damage done by peeling bark, breaking branches off live trees or cutting down live trees. You will be held responsible for any damages incurred. Please notify the office if any campground equipment is broken or not working properly. Swimming - The swimming pool is open daily from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm. The pool will be closed at the first sign of a thunder/lighting storm and remain closed until the storm has passed. All children 14 and under must be accompanied by 2 adults on the pool deck. No food or glass containers allowed. No pets are allowed inside the pool area. Bathing suits required - No “cutoffs”. Diving and jumping in are prohibited. No horseplay will be tolerated. Bicycles – Bicyclists must follow New York State Law regarding helmets. The law states that: all bicyclists under the age of 14 are required to wear approved bicycle helmets when bicycling or riding as a passenger. No riding after dark. Pets - Quiet and non-aggressive pets are permitted with the following restrictions: Proof of a valid rabies inoculation must be provided before any dog is allowed in the campground. a current dated tag is acceptable. All pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Pets must not disturb or pose a danger to other campers. Barking or vicious dogs must be removed from the campground. Dogs and other pets are not permitted inside the pool area, bathhouses, or in any other buildings. Your pet must be supervised at all times and owners are to clean up after their pet. Pet owners are liable for any damage to campground property or injuries. Firearms - All types of firearms including BB guns, the use of fireworks (or any other types of explosives), bows and arrows, and slingshots are strictly forbidden. Use of these items will prompt immediate eviction. Campfires, Firewood and Invasive Insects A regulation is in effect that prohibits the import of firewood into New York unless it has been heat treated to kill pests. The regulation also limits the transportation of untreated firewood to less than 50 miles from its source. For additional information visit NYS DEC website. All fires must be built in the fire rings provided for that purpose. No fire shall be started until all nearby flammable material has been removed to prevent its spread. Never leave a campfire unattended. Make sure it is out before leaving your site or retiring for the evening. Do not leave children at the campsite or campfire alone. Telephones - A courtesy telephone is located at the Office. For emergencies, dial 911. Wi-Fi Hotspot – This is a shared, open system, so please use common courtesy and minimize bandwidth use. We must ask that you adhere to a few rules so that all our campers get to enjoy the system. This service is designed for e-mail and Web browsing. Downloading large files or excessive use of bandwidth will result in automatic limitation of access. Wi-fi use in the Office (hotspot) is for campers use only. Internet access is supplied as a service to our customers. We are not responsible for your laptop security or data integrity. By logging onto our system, you agree to these conditions for access and promise that, when you are done checking your e-mail, you will enjoy the great outdoors at our beautiful campground. Motor Vehicles & Boats - For the safety of children at play, the speed limit throughout the campground is 5 mph and is strictly enforced. No motorized carts or scooters, ATVs, skateboards or rollerblades permitted. We allow only one vehicle per unit. There is an extra charge for any additional vehicles. Boats are to be parked in the designated boat area only. Theft and Loss – Management is not responsible for theft or loss of any kind, nor damage caused by fire, wind, water, accidents, vandalism, lighting strikes, or acts of God. It is your responsibility to maintain insurance on your camper/boats at all times.
