We are snow birds who found this park as lovely as our own backyard in the summer. As we were greeted by the owners & some of the long term & winter guests we found everyone friendly & welcoming. We are most pleased to have made the acquaintance of Mr Boots the park ambassador & owners’ family cat. He is the sweetest boy! Mostly retirees here but we have seen families visit. Directly across the street is Crooked River State park which has nice hiking/biking, a playground and boat access. The rural avenues in the area are also good for biking. Here you are close to many activities to the north south and west; I95 is a short drive and you are on your way to Jacksonville, Amelia Island, Fernanadina, Jekyll Island, Brunswick or beyond. Sites fill quickly so reservations the earlier the better. We plan to come back.

Do not recommend if you enjoy camping. More of an RV park. Very clicky. Was spied on with video. Very uncomfortable
