RV park booking engine and travel site RoverPass raises $1 million seed funding round as their online reservations product hits the market

RoverPass, an online booking site for nationwide RV parks and campgrounds, raised over $1 million in startup funding in a year, and plans to reach $2 million by the end of 2016. An Austin-based startup, RoverPass launched in 2015 as an online park directory. In 2016, The company released its online reservations platform, RoverPass Checkout, accelerating investor interest and company growth.

RoverPass’ funding is supported by local investment firm, ATX Seed Ventures. Leading the company is CEO, Ravi Parikh. This is Parikh’s second startup venture. He began working on RoverPass after selling MakerSquare in January 2015.

RoverPass Checkout is introducing online reservations in an industry that has shown progressive growth over the past decade. RV sales have been and continue to grow as the market expands from traditional retirees to #vanlifers and Millennials. As a result, RoverPass technology is positioned for growth alongside these market trends.
