The new year comes with a new Reservation Management System update from RoverPass. So, if you’re an RV park or campground owner with a resolution to enhance your campground’s booking process, you’ll be pleased to learn about the new update kicking off 2020!
Now, campers will no longer be required to choose a specific site number while checking out through the RoverPass Reservation Management System (RMS). This update allows a campground to be configured for a shortened online checkout process for campers when making a reservation—they’ll be able to select site type but won’t be required to choose a specific site number. As a campground owner, you’ll be able to see the site that was automatically assigned to the camper and can switch sites just like you normally would in the Availability Calendar. However, whenever the owner switches the site, the camper will not be notified.
This allows you, the campground owner, to retain control over assigning sites and have the ability to move campers around as you see fit—and since the camper hasn’t been notified of any specific site number yet, making the change is easy, no matter how many times you need to.
Here’s a breakdown on how it works:
Exciting stuff! If you’d like to make the change to not requiring a camper to choose a specific site at your campground, simply reach out to our customer service team or email support@roverpass.com.
